It seems
that lot of people are quite fond into criticizing and looking contemptuously
over someone’s ways of dressing up, taste of music, etc.
The truth is that all these people that go around
criticizing have a social resentment caused by their feeling of not belonging
or not having being able to fit in a world in which only certain people are
considered beautiful and successful.
I personally believe that those who criticize the most
are the one that would love to be part of that trivial trend if the opportunity
ever arises. On the other side those who really dislike something, would try to
avoid talking about it and it would become something invisible and worthless.
I tally with you. I also believe that this lack of originality is caused by the media in general. If you analyze the media, it has established an order: how you are suppose to look, how you are suppose to act, what you have to think, and so on. The media in general gives us a false image of what we are supposed to be. I think that publicity gives us beauty, but not necessarily reality. This idea of beauty frustrates thousands of people who believe that buying the latest clothes will make them better or be different. But the reality is that they are just part of this fantasy called publicity.
